7:30 AM - Red Rocks Grill, Morrison

Our annual Peak to Peak ride is a spectacular Colorado adventure from Morrison to the foot of the Rocky Mountain National Park at Estes Park.   This ride is approximately 150 miles.

Designated in 1918, the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway is Colorados oldest Scenic Byway. We depart Red Rocks Grill at 7:30 AM riding along world famous Red Rocks, through Golden to Highway 93 and heading up Golden Gate Canyon (Highway 46) to its intersection with Highway 119 - the actual Peak to Peak Byway.  We’ll head north to Nederland and stop for coffee at The Train Cars Coffee and Yogurt Company located inside the old wood railroad car.

Riders can meet us in Nederland as we plan to be there for an hour from approximately 8:45 to 9:45 for coffee and snacks.

We will continue north on this scenic route to CO-7, then make a left toward Estes Park where we will turn left at Mary’s Lake Road (67) to the edge of Estes Park and make our lunch stop at Smokin' Dave’s BBQ (turn right at the Country Market at Moraine Ave). After lunch its up to to each rider if they want to visit Rocky Mountain National Park (you may need a prior on-line reservation to enter!), or head down through Estes and take CO 7 past the Peak to Peak junction to Lyons and head to Boulder, or back the way we came with options along the way to head down Boulder Canyon, Left Hand Canyon or Coal Creek Canyon (72) back to Highway 93, its up to you as the Ride ends at lunch.

Note: this ride leaves early from Red Rocks Grill to avoid traffic and give riders plenty of time for options on the way home.
