This ride has been a BMWMCC staple for nearly 20 years. The event takes place at the Lazy Acres campground in Riverside, WY next to the Encampment River. This is one of the club’s all-time favorite events.
This part of Wyoming offers the best riding in the Medicine Bow National Forest including the famed WY-70 claimed by many to be the best road in the state.
This will be a loosely structured ride going to and from the event. If you want to get an early start on the weekend, there will be pickup rides leaving each day starting Thursday thru Saturday. We break camp Sunday morning the 25th and head home. The club will be providing burgers, brats and sides on Friday and Saturday night. There’s a restaurant and a general store right outside the campground.
Cabins and rooms are available for those who don’t want to camp and can be reserved at info@lazyacreswyo.com 307-327-5968. Talk to Leroy or Leann. If you’re interested leading a ride to Riverside, please inform our ride coordinator Scott Dunaway at rides@bmwmcc.org so we can let other members know.
