Camping will be $5.00 per person per night.

Camping in Chama will be $10.00 per-person per-night.  The Rio Chama RV Park is at 182 North Hwy 17 on the north side of Chama next to the Cumbres and Toltec railroad and their phone is 575-756-2303.

This year we have combined the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument overnight ride with the Chama N.M. Campout and Member Appreciation Celebration over the 4th of July holiday weekend. This year's ride leader is Jimmy Flora. Jimmy will lead us on an awesome weekend of riding the great roads of Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.

We plan to leave at 9:00am on Saturday July 1 from Red Rocks Grill in Morrison. We will return on Wednesday, July 5th. If you want to meet the group along the way, you will need to make plans for routes and riding partners to and from the event.

The Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument leg of the ride will be first on our journey and we will spend one night camping and enjoying the views under the stars in the La Junta Campground on the south end of the park. On Monday morning we’ll get a leisurely start and ride some of the most scenic routes in Northern New Mexico as we head to our final destination at the Rio Chama RV Park. There is an assortment of National Parks nearby for us to ride over the next two days.

The town of Chama has spectacular July 4th fireworks display just a mile from camp. We will be close to the fireworks and a hat and glasses may be required. BMWMCC will reserve camping spots and provide a dinner. If opting to join us later just show up. The best part is the simplicity in enjoying this otherwise busy holiday.
